Polices and Guidelines of CCCP for the Project Implementing Partners (PIP)

CCCP organized a 3 days long residential Training on “Polices and Guidelines of CCCP for the Project Implementing Partners (PIP)” among the 14 new NGOs under Community Climate Change Project (CCCP) on 14-16 October, 2014.  The training took place in Padakhep Manabik Unnayan Kendra, House#679, Road#12, Baitul Aman Housing Society, Adabar, Mohammadpur, Dhaka-1207. Deputy Managing Director of PKSF Mr. Md. Fazlul Kader inaugurated the training session. After that Dr. Fazle Rabbi Sadeque Ahmed, Project Coordinator, CCCP delivered welcome speech for the participants. Most of the sessions were conducted by the Program Officers and Sector Specialists of CCCP.

 

After inauguration and welcome speech the Project Coordinator of CCCP conducted the 1st session on “Linkage of CCCP activities with Climate Change Adaptation”. After his session Mr. Shah Eyamin-ul Islam, former Procurement Specialist CCCP conducted the session on “Procurement Guidelines and process under CCCP”. The final topic of 1st day of the training was Finance and Accounts. Mr. Md. Ashraful Islam, Senior Accounts and Finance Officer, CCCP, PKSF and Mr. Md. Masud Parvez, Accounts & Finance Officer, CCCP took the session jointly on Finance and Accounts related issues to be applicable under CCCP implementation.

 

The 2nd day of the training was started with the session on “M & E in CCCP, Result Based Monitoring (RBM), Profile (Household & Community) and Community Mechanism” and the session was conducted by Ms. Mahsin Hamuda, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, CCCP, PKSF. After the tea break the 2nd session of the day was on “Online monitoring system (ATOM)” and the session was conducted by Mr. Asif Aziz, MIS Officer, CCCP. After the lunch break the 3rd session was conducted by Dr. Fazle Rabbi Sadeque Ahmed, Project Coordinator, CCCP on “Environment Management Framework (EMF) and Environmental Handbook of CCCP”. The final session of the day was on “Social Management Framework (SMF)” and the session was conducted by Ms. Sabrin Sultana, PO, Training and Community/Social Management, CCCP.

 

The 1st session of final day of the training was conducted by Mr. Asif Aziz on “Reporting and documentation procedure for the PIPs”. The 2nd session was on “Overview about Sub-Project implementation manual” and the session was conducted by Dr. Fazle Rabbi Sadeque Ahmed. After his session Mr. Md. Mahmuduzzaman, Program Officer (Salinity), CCCP conducted a session on “Common project activities under CCCP focused on Salinity”. The 4th session of the day was conducted by Mr. Rabi Uzzaman, Program Officer (Drought), CCCP on “Common project activities under CCCP focused on Drought”. The last session of the day was conducted by Mr. K. M. Marufuzzaman, Program Officer (Flood), CCCP on “Common project activities under CCCP focused on Flood”. At the end of the day Dr. Fazle Rabbi Sadeque Ahmed, PC, CCCP declared the conclusion of the training. All the participants was awarded with certificates and all participants participated in the training cordially.
